If your steps are partially syncing or StepBet is lower than Apple Health, this is usually caused by Data Source order in Apple Health.
This is the most common Apple syncing issue.
Why This Happens
Apple Health collects step data from multiple devices and apps.
Apple only sends StepBet steps from the highest priority devices.
If old devices or unapproved third-party apps are listed first, your totals may be reduced or filtered by Apple before they are sent to us.
How to Check and Fix Data Source Order
Open Apple Health
Tap Steps
Scroll down and ap Data Sources & Access
Under Data Sources, tap Edit
Reorder your devices so that:
1️⃣ Primary tracker (Apple Watch, Oura, Garmin, etc.)
2️⃣ Secondary tracker (if applicable)
3️⃣ iPhone
Remove Old or Unused Devices
Tap a device name to see when it last recorded steps.
If it shows older dates and is no longer in use:
Remove it or move it below active devices.
Remove Third-Party Step Sources
StepBet only counts steps recorded directly by approved devices.
If apps like:
Strava
MyFitnessPal
Pedometer apps
Other third-party trackers
are contributing step data, remove their step permissions to prevent filtering issues.
After adjusting:
Return to StepBet and tap Update Now.
