If StepBet is showing 0 steps or hasn’t updated at all, follow the steps below.
Please continue hitting your step goals while we troubleshoot 💚
Step 1: Make Sure Apple Is Your Selected Tracker
In the StepBet app:
Tap Profile
Tap Step Source
Make sure Apple is selected.
If Apple is not selected, reach out to support@stepbet.com for assistance.
Step 2: Confirm Apple Health Is Receiving Steps
Open the Apple Health app:
Tap Steps
Confirm today’s step total is correct
If Apple Health is not showing steps, the issue is between your device (Apple Watch, iPhone, Oura, etc.) and Apple Health. StepBet cannot receive steps until Apple Health has them.
Step 3: Check StepBet Permissions
In Apple Health:
Tap your Profile picture
Tap Apps
Select StepBet
Make sure Steps is toggled ON (green)
If StepBet is not listed:
Open StepBet
Try calculating goals for a new game and go through to the checkout page. Once there you can back out and check to see if you are reconnected.
If that did not work - try deleting and reinstalling StepBet to force new Apple permissions.
Step 4: Check Bluetooth if using an approved wearable tracker
Your tracker must sync to your phone via Bluetooth before Apple Health can update.
Ensure Bluetooth is ON
Make sure your tracker is connected
Open Apple Health to confirm steps are appearing there
Step 5: Tap “Update Now” in StepBet
After confirming everything above:
Open StepBet
Tap Update Now
Try syncing on both WiFi and cellular if possible.
Still Not Working?
Try:
Updating StepBet in the App Store
Updating your device’s operating system
Uninstalling and reinstalling StepBet (if you haven't already)
If you’re still stuck, email support@stepbet.com the same day the issue occurs and include:
